Heart Pond 5K Fun Run & Walk

CBCGL Youth invites all church members and friends to the Heart Pond 5K Run & Walk on May 18th Sunday afternoon. This is a fundraiser event to support CBCGL youth Short Term Mission teams. This summer. A team of our youth and adult counselors will go and serve at Root Cellar Ministry in Lewiston, Maine, for a week (7/20-7/25).

Event details:
Race Start: Heart Pond Beach, Chelmsford
Heading north along the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail for 2.5K(1.5mile) and turning back
Race Finish: Heart Pond Beach, Chelmsford
*Water, a light snack, and a small prize will be provided for runners & walkers at Heart Pond Beach

Pre-registration cost: $20 per participant
Last Minute Registration will be available at Heart Pond for $25 per participant

🚗 Parking Options (Carpooling Encouraged):

Option 1 – Preferred:
Park at Byam Elementary School (25 Maple Rd., Chelmsford) and enjoy a short 0.3-mile walk to Heart Pond Beach.

Option 2 – Limited Availability:
Park directly at Heart Pond Beach in Chelmsford (72 Pond St. #50, Chelmsford, MA 01824)
Please note: Parking spaces here are very limited — we highly recommend choosing Option 1 first.

– After the 5K Run/Walk, a Ride back to church will be provided per request (call Rick He 978.727.2268)
