Elder Sean Lee

Acting Senior Pastor

Elder Sean Lee is a founding member of the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell (1989). Over the years, he has participated in several areas of the church ministry including music worship, church planting (Chinese Bible Church of Greater Nashua), fellowship groups, Christian education, missions and other ministries. He served as a church deacon for eight years, a volunteer minister for one year, and was ordained as a church elder in 2007. In 2018, he received a Master of Divinity degree from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He works in software development. He and his lovely wife, Dr. Yatze Tong, a physician, have two sons who grew up in CBCGL. The burden of Elder Sean is to serve together with the church co-workers to equip the saints in CBCGL for works of ministry of Gospel, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

Pastor Nathan Willems

CrossPoint Community Ministry

Pastor Nathan has been at CBCGL for over one-third of its 30+year history. He joined CBCGL as a seminarian in 2005. He became the Youth Minister in 2008. He was ordained in 2012. After having served for 10.5 years as the youth minister/pastor, Nathan responded to the call of God to be the Pastor of the English-speaking congregation beginning in 2021.

Pastor Nathan grew up in Iowa. He attended Northwestern College (Go Red Raiders!) where he earned an undergraduate degree in Sociology. He also attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he earned his M.Div (Master of Divinity) in 2008 and his D.Min (Doctor of Ministry) Degree in 2022.

He is married to his lovely wife Angie. They have three kids Alethea, Caleb, and Naomi. Pastor Nathan and Angie live in Westford, MA.

Pastor Ben Tu

Mandarin Ministry

Pastor Benjamin Pang-hsien Tu came from Taiwan to America for his PhD degree in Pathology, and worked as Pathologist before he responded to the calling of God in 2014. He enrolled in the Westminster Theological Seminary as a student of Master of Divinity. He transferred to Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 2016 and completed his degree in 2018. He serves as the minister of Mandarin Ministry of the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell (CBCGL) and was ordained as a pastor in Feb. 2021. His wife Rose Chiu graduated from the same medical school in Taiwan and is now a full time missionary of the China Outreach Ministries. She is sharing gospel with the students and scholars from China in Boston and also helps Pastor Ben at the CBCGL.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Katherine grew up at Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston and was called by God to ministry in her teen years. After confirmation of God’s calling on her life, she received her Master’s in Divinity at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. She served as an associate pastor for a multicultural church plant for a year before coming to Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell to serve as the children’s minister.

Pastor Raymond Lee

Visiting Preaching Pastor

Rev. Raymond C. Lee is a pastor and mission-driven business entrepreneur. He received his Master of Education Administration from Harvard University and Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS). His passion is to see the application of God’s Word to every area of life, from the heart and mind to our families, workplace, business and cities of the world. His ministry has spanned close to 40 years of service to different churches, including Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston (youth, English and Associate Pastor), Gordon College (Dean of the Chapel), Lowell Mission Church (Voluntary Pastor), Faith Community Church (Voluntary Senior Pastor) and now as Visiting Preaching Pastor of CBCGL. Rev. Lee operates businesses in the US and HK, and together with his wife, Priscilla, co-lead the Oasis Group, an urban mission-driven company. Mrs. Lee is a graduate of GCTS, and also a trustee of the seminary. The Lees are joint authors of a book published in HK: “Tapping Into The Inexhaustible Power of God.”
