Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I need your help. The task of Equipping the Next Generation to advance God’s kingdom does not just belong to the pastor or the elders or the deacons but belongs to the whole congregation. This is why I am asking for your help. You can join in CrossPoint Community ministry every day, with just a few minutes each day. Here’s how.
When we pray, God works. It is my eager expectation and prayer that God will be actively working in and through CrossPoint Community during the next three years. But I cannot make this happen alone. I mean, I have seen God answer prayer, and much more so when I have prayed with others. This is why I need you to join me in prayer for the next generation.
Starting tonight, I will have a sign-up sheet available. On it, I will have a list of names of college students and participants in the Next Gen Fellowship. All that I am asking is that you sign your name next to the names of those on the list. When you sign up, I will give you a list of prayer requests that you can use to pray for the specific individuals you have signed up for. After this, I ask you to take time each day to pray for those people using the prayer requests we give you. Please pray for at least 3 months, if not the rest of 2026. We’ll have the list available until each person has someone praying for them.
Note, I’ll work on getting the Next Generation to pray for you, the beloved members of CrossPoint Community!

Please continue to pray for the nations of Iran and Israel/Gaza and Ukraine/Russia and Sudan. Here is a suggested list of prayers if you are at a loss for words in how to pray: https://send.org/story/hh_pray_for_ukraine. And https://worldrelief.org/blog-prayer-for-israel-and-gaza/ And here are other prayers for peace in general: https://worldrelief.org/prayers-for-peace-in-the-world/ Thank you for kneeling on behalf of the people of Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Gaza and Lebanon, and Sudan, and Iran and taking a stand (or a knee in prayer) against the forces of darkness in this present age.

Further announcements can be found in the weekly spotlight. And other church wide announcements can be found in our weekly bulletin.

For Prayer:

1. From Bishop J.C. Ryle – “To be prayerless is to be Christless, Godless, and in the high road to destruction…It will always be found that when prayers are few, grace, strength, peace, and hope are small.” Please join our Wednesday night prayer meeting (7:45 – 9:00 pm) even if you can’t participate the whole time.
