Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The Christian life is a life where we have been changed. The New Testament has multiple passages which talk about what we were before knowing Christ and who we are now because of our union with Christ, because of being found in Christ.
The Pastoral staff take time for devotions during our staff meetings. This week, we took 10 minutes to think through some of the many ways we have been changed because of Jesus. We compared lists and compiled unique occurrences. You can find the list of 90 different Was/Am phrases via this link.

Take some time this weekend to praise God for what you were, and how you are different now because of Christ.

This Week (Feb. 18–24, 2022):

1. Tonight, on Feb. 18, 2022, we will have Friday Night Bible Study. Join us from 7:30-9:30 as we take time to sing, share, and study the topic of “The Pitfall of Temptation” from Joseph’s life. If you want, read Gen. 39 in preparation. You can join in-person in Room A-216 or online.

Administration / Events

5. CBCGL’s COVID-19 guidance has been updated. If you have not completed a waiver, please do so. You can find the most up-to-date waiver at http://bit.ly/cbcgl-covid19-waiver. You must have completed this form and follow its guidance if you plan to participate in any in-person church activities. Note: please find the updated COVID-19 Guidance for CBCGL in the COVID-19 Update Sidebar Tab in the announcements. Restrictions are being incrementally removed!

6. Did you know that we have updated reports from our missionaries on a regular basis? Please check the missions tab in our bulletin to read through these reports and learn how you can support our missionaries. This week, there is an urgent prayer request from England and an update about C and A (heading to Mexico, and looking for a place to call home so they can continue the work of Bible Translation).

7. All other announcements can be found here (in our CrossPoint Community bulletin).

For Prayer
