Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

On March 8, a Friday Night, beginning at 8 pm, CPC will join an online event hosted by Voice of the Martyrs. This is a Christian organization that seeks to share the stories and experiences of persecuted Christians around the globe. They want to support these brothers and sisters and to inform Christians, particularly in the West, to pray for and give resources to aid in the work of advancing the gospel in nations hostile to Christianity or where Christianity is restricted.
This event is called “I am N”. “N” is the Romanized letter of the Arabic letter which has been used by ISIS to mark the homes and churches of Christians in Iraq. So, this event is to provide an update on Christians who have fled and those who stayed. We also will hear firsthand stories from three Christians who have suffered to advance the gospel in other places that are dominated by Islam.
We will be hosting this event at church. Since it is an online event, if you are a Friday Night online participant, it would be best for you to register individually – otherwise we run into issues trying to receive a livestream event and livestream it to you via zoom. You can register for free at
My plan is to start at 7:30 pm with a welcome, brief announcements, and highs and lows. Then we will join online around 7:55 or so. The event itself goes until 10 pm, but we can end at 9:30, or you can depart at that time.
Let’s learn together how God is at work and how we can pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in places where they are persecuted for their faith.

Additionally, please continue to pray for the nations of Israel and Ukraine. Pray that the wars would end. Here is a suggested list of prayers if you are at a loss for words in how to pray: And Thank you for kneeling on behalf of the people of Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Gaza and taking a stand (or a knee in prayer) against the forces of darkness in this present age.
