Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Today is Good Friday. Throughout the passion week, we can see Jesus heading towards the end. He finished well, not cursing those who cursed him, not calling out false witnesses, but submitting to the will of the Father. On Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice that Christ made, the sacrifice He was and the sacrifice He perfected. Tonight, we focus on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Join us in the Fellowship Sanctuary (A101) @ 7:30 pm.
Crossway Publishers put together a number of videos 10 years ago. There is a video for each day from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday. I don’t know if you got a chance to watch the videos from last week. But I’ve included Good Friday – Easter Sunday for you here.

As you watch, listen, learn – consider not only what Christ did but why he did it.

In case you haven’t heard, there are a number of other activities and resources available to you and your family this weekend.
For example, did you know that our very own Marina Lam has self-published a devotional book which she is making available to you for free via the Amazon Kindle app. It will be available for free beginning tomorrow through April 3. Here is a link if you are interested: https://vqr.vc/mtN8cu2Cm
On Saturday, March 30, from 2 to 4 pm, CBCGL is hosting our annual Easter Family Festivities. There will be plenty of activities and joy for families, but the event if geared for children ages 3 to 12. So invite your neighbors and friends and their kids! Walk-in registrations are welcome.
On Sunday, March 31st, we have our Easter Combined Worship Service, in the Main Sanctuary at 9:45 am. Following a brief intermission to set up the stage or for you to use the restroom, we will have our baptism service, with 6 or 7 people being baptized with 2 from the youth group. Immediately following the baptism service, you are encouraged to stay for lunch to share a meal with others from CrossPoint Community or with others from our church. Please welcome visitors (and even offer to pay for their lunch!).

Next weekend, on Sunday, April 7, CPC will have our bi-annual Town Hall Meeting. We will meet in the Community Hall (A-202) from 9:45 to 10:45 pm. For more information, see below in the announcements section. We will end a little early to be able to join the rest of the church in the main sanctuary for a Children’s and Youth Co-worker appreciation activity beginning at 10:50 am.
And on April 8th, from around 2:15 pm to 4:45 pm, with the peak happening around 3:30 pm, there will be a 93% solar eclipse here in MA. From what I understand it will be the only total solar eclipse visible in the Contiguous United States for the next 20 years. Please note, you’ll need special glasses to view the eclipse without damaging your eyes.

Additionally, please continue to pray for the nations of Israel and Ukraine. Pray that the wars would end. Here is a suggested list of prayers if you are at a loss for words in how to pray: https://send.org/story/hh_pray_for_ukraine. And https://worldrelief.org/blog-prayer-for-israel-and-gaza/ Thank you for kneeling on behalf of the people of Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Gaza and taking a stand (or a knee in prayer) against the forces of darkness in this present age.

For Prayer:

1. From Bishop J.C. Ryle – “To be prayerless is to be Christless, Godless, and in the high road to destruction…It will always be found that when prayers are few, grace, strength, peace, and hope are small.” Please join our Wednesday night prayer meeting (7:45 – 9:15 pm) even if you can’t participate the whole time.
