Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I hope that you are well prepared for the coming Nor’Easter. Because of the timing of the storm, the Red Sox changed their final regular season series, and Chelmsford changed their Fall Festival to October 31st (It was supposed to be Sept. 26). But our planned activities at church are still happening (except for Hobby Bunch, which has been cancelled)! Check out the weekly spotlight for more information! Please also invite your friends and neighbors to join the KSDAP event this Sunday afternoon!
Last week (on Sept. 19), we had our Next Gen Fellowship. We had 7 people participating, with the hope of having bi-weekly meetings moving forward (one on Saturday and one on Sunday each month). Please continue to pray that we in CPC would be equipping the Next Generation to Advance God’s kingdom.
Also, we are wrapping up our review of CBCGL’s Mission, CPC’s Vision, and the Measures for CPC. Last week, it was CPC’s Vision and the second measures for CPC (in relation to Family Members). This week, it is the third and fourth measures for CPC (in relation to the Church and to the World)
What are CPC’s Measures (a way to tell if we are successful in our vision)?
In relation to the Church
- How am I praying for other members of CrossPoint Community?
- How am I communicating care for someone younger than me (outside of my family)?
- How am I helping someone younger than me to follow Jesus?
In relation to the World
- How am I giving more this year than last year?
- How am I displaying Christ in my words and actions to my community?
- How am I presently advancing God’s Kingdom?
- How am I seeking to join God in what He is doing beyond Sunday Worship?
Please continue to pray for the nations of Iran and Israel/Gaza and Ukraine/Russia and Sudan. May God grant peace and bring an end to these wars.
