Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

“Come and worship, Come and Worship, Worship Christ our Newborn King!”
On Dec. 24, CrossPoint Community will join the whole church for our annual combined Christmas worship service beginning at 9:45 in the main sanctuary. [Friendly reminder, it is Cold/Flu/COVID season. So mask up, if you are concerned for your health or you are following CDC guidance. Let’s not make our Christmas services a super-spreader event!]
At 11:25 am, we will have a baptism service where 16 individuals (12 of them are youth) will profess faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Please stay to celebrate with our brothers and sisters in Christ!
At 7:00 pm, CrossPoint Community will host a candlelight Christmas Eve service in the main sanctuary. You’re welcome to join us for this lessons and carols service as we worship Jesus, the light of the world.

On Dec. 31, we will have a get to know you Sunday School hour. Regular Sunday schools are cancelled. And we will have a worship service at 11:25 am.
Did you know that you are invited to a dumpling making party / game night / prayer meeting mash-up on Dec. 31st? It starts at 6 pm and goes until 12:15 am (so that we can pray together into the New Year). The space is limited to the first 20 people who sign-up. Sign-up by contacting me, Pastor Nathan. I’ll let you know the location and what to bring!
Did you know that you have two more Sundays to make your year-end contribution to CBCGL? Many people give at the end of the year, which helps to close our budget deficit. But we need regular giving from our members to sustain and strengthen the work of ministry at CBCGL. Consider giving regularly and generously in 2024. Don’t know where to start? Just ask! I’m glad to tell you how to get started.

Finally, please continue to pray for the nations of Israel and Ukraine. Pray that the wars would end. Here is a suggested list of prayers if you are at a loss for words in how to pray: https://send.org/story/hh_pray_for_ukraine. And https://worldrelief.org/blog-prayer-for-israel-and-gaza/ Thank you for kneeling on behalf of the people of Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Palestine and taking a stand (or a knee in prayer) against the forces of darkness in this present age.

Through the end of 2023 (Dec. 22-31, 2023):

5. All other announcements can be found here (in our CrossPoint Community bulletin).

For Prayer:

1. From Bishop J.C. Ryle – “To be prayerless is to be Christless, Godless, and in the high road to destruction…It will always be found that when prayers are few, grace, strength, peace, and hope are small.” Please join our Wednesday night prayer meeting (7:45 – 9:15 pm) even if you can’t participate the whole time.
