Last Week: We didn’t have LYF, but over 30 LYFers attended Passion Night at CBCGB!
This Week:
1. Prayer – Prayer meeting is combined tomorrow (Wed., Dec. 4). If you can, join at CBCGL, then join the online call. Otherwise, join prayer meeting at the Youth Pastor’s house or online!
a. Talking with God (Andrew Murray 154): “Let my prayer be something definite, arising out of the Word I have read and out of the real soul needs I long to have satisfied.”
b. What you can pray for:
i. Your church – Pray for God to lead our church in Pastoral Staff transitions. Praise God for the answers to prayer regarding the building! Pray that we would be about the business of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
ii. Your Youth Group – for students to grow in love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, through the work of the Holy Spirit
iii. Your Friends – for their lives to be grounded in, centered on, rooted in Christ. And pray for your non-Christian friends to know Jesus.
iv. Yourself – and your eternal (and immediate) needs, like being faithful in evangelism.
2. Fellowship / Discipleship –
a. Friday, Dec. 6 – T3: Specific Sins – Dishonesty vs. Honesty
b. Saturday, Dec. 7 – Christmas Caroling (Practice on Dec. 6)
c. Sunday, Dec. 8 – 9:45 am First Sunday Prayer, 11:25am Worship (Brother Li will preach), 1:30 pm – CBCGL’s 75th Baptism!
