Last Sunday, thanks to many brothers and sisters’ preparation, we had a great farewell gathering to send our beloved brother and sister William and Irene Fung off to Canada.

A magnitude of 4.9 Earthquake shook the island of Puerto Rico. After the first quake, a series of aftershocks continued to shake the island.
Many people lost their homes; some even lost their lives because of unexpected disasters.
The happenings this week reminded me of two sure things stated in the Bible:
• “No man knows when his hour will come” (Ecclesiastes 9:12a, NIV)
• “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” (Matthew 24:7, NIV)
