Dear EM family,

I hope that this email finds you well.

Did you watch the presidential debate last night? Is it something on your priority?

If you have watched it, what is your take away?

As the presidential election is 11 days away, I hope you have either voted early or know who you will vote for. But this is not what I’d like to share with you again today.

One thing I noticed both candidates said during the debate was, “that is not true” or “I did not say.” They were rebuking their opponent’s accusations.

British writer C.S. Lewis once said, “integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” American author Jackson Brown Jr. made a similar statement, “our character is what we do when we think no one is looking.”

Does God know what we do when we think that no one else is looking? Paul told us that, So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31, ESV).

May God grant us the wisdom to do His will. This goes beyond just voting for our next president. The more you are sensitive to the callings from the Holy Spirit, the more you will understand God’s will on you.

Blessings!
